With Album Number Two already in the can, Dorsal Fins are proud to release a Limited Edition 7”, ‘Fins at the Speed of Sound’ - out just in time for International Record Store Day, Saturday 16th April via their own label, Gripless Records.

The 7” release is a homage to one of the Fins’ most treasured influences… Paul McCartney’s ‘other’ band, Wings.

Despite often being maligned and underrated, Wings made some incredible music during the 1970’s, two great examples of which are embraced on this release. A-Side ‘Let ‘Em In’ (taken from 1976’s ‘Wings at the Speed of Sound’) sees Jarrad Brown take the lead on a tripped-out take of this downtempo-disco stunner. The flip features Ella Thompson tearing through a deeply soulful version of the classic ‘My Love’ (from 1973’s ‘Red Rose Speedway’).
